Delivery Options

GIS Innovations Ltd. Will deliver to our clients the Road Atlas of BC by a number of ways, including:

FTP pushed to the Client

FTP pulled by the Client from our server

Direct email

Mastering and mailing a CD / DVD

FTP push to the Client

GIS Innovations Ltd will master a file and send it to a Client’s site, provided we a provided a private account on the Client’s FTP server.  We will not, excepting exceptional circumstances, send our data to a site where anyone other than the Client has access to the file we would be posting.

FTP pulled by the Client from our FTP server

GIS Innovations Ltd will master a file and post it to a private account on our ftp server: ftp ftp://www.gis-innovations.bc.ca

This can be access via a Windows Internet Explorer window by entering the string:
ftp://www.gis-innovations.bc.ca
into the address line.

You will be prompted for your username and password

NOTE: you must first go onto your Internet Explorer, top banner “Tools” then “Internet Options” (the bottom selection).  Then on the top row of tabs select “Advanced.”  Then under Browsing, near the bottom, select OFF “Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL compatibility).
